Local Authority Housing Fund – round 3
This is a key decision required to be taken shortly by the Cabinet member responsible for Finance and Property Assets. The decision has not previously been included in the Cabinet work programme and advertised 28 clear days in advance.
The decision, if confirmed, would enable funding to build four affordable homes, progression of which requires the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding that must be signed by 12 July. It was placed on the Cabinet work programme when notified by officers on 24 May 2024. Due to an error on the IT system the item was not saved and not placed on the Cabinet work programme again until 6 June 2024.
The council is required to notify its Scrutiny Committee chair of the intention to make this decision.
